Apr 21, 2020 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Every style of art visually reveals something to appreciate that had previously been missed. More than a hundred years ago, the French landscape painter Claude Oscar Monet, overlooked trying to capture his subject with skillful precision. Instead, Monet zeroed-in his focuses on painting the sunlight, and how the atmosphere affected his surroundings. Though he achieved much professional success in his lifetime, Monet was also known to struggle with depression, self-doubt, poverty, and illness throughout his life, and died in 1926. Monet’s noteworthy perspective, talent, and personality inspired the entire Impressionist movement in the late 1880s, and subsequent generations of abstract painters.
Paying homage to master artists in Painting with a Snack holds time for our visions to focus together and recreate step by step.
