Male Veterans Expressive Art Therapy Group
July 29 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm
An event every week that begins at 2:00pm on Wednesday, repeating until Aug 26, 2020
Art has been used for thousands of years as a form of communication when language has been non-existent or difficult to use. It is only natural that this form of communication can be used as a way to help those facing the most difficult of problems to find their voice. Through art therapy, veterans are able to improve communication, reality-orientation, self-esteem, cognitive functioning, neuroplasticity, social skills, and even physical healing and growth. Additionally, veterans can develop secure attachments, regain their identities as a civilian, and practice emotional regulation.
Please join us every Wednesday, starting March 4th, for our Art Therapy group!
Male Group: Wednesdays, 2:00PM – 3:30PM
Female Group: Wednesdays, 10:00AM – 11:30AM
