WEBSTER, N.Y. (WHEC)- The pins went down but the money went up at the 12th annual Strikes for Abilities bowling party on Sunday.

The CDS Wolf Foundation hosted the event, which raises money for unfunded areas of need at CDS Life Transitions.

CDS Life Transitions provides support and services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities- people with chronic illnesses, seniors, and veterans.

“Every year, the fundraising has grown,” says Tom DeRoller, CDS Wolf’s executive director, “Every year.”

“Last year was a record, we anticipate that this year will also be a record. So all those funds go to the unfunded areas of CDS Life Transitions.”

Ultimately, this year’s event raised over $55,000!
