Warrior Salute Receives $25,000 Grant from Disabled Veterans National Foundation

Rochester, NY – July 6, 2015 – Warrior Salute, a service of CDS Monarch that provides rehabilitative therapies and services to veterans, received a Disabled Veterans National Foundation (DVNF) Grant in the amount of $25,000.

“Grants such as these are especially important to us because Warrior Salute is funded entirely by private donations and grants,” CDS Monarch President/CEO Sankar Sewnauth said. “We rely on contributions from local organizations, businesses and community members to ensure we can continue to provide essential services to Veterans who need help. We’re very grateful that DVNF has selected us to receive this funding.”

“There have been so many lives turned upside-down by the devastating effects of PTSD, TBI and military sexual trauma, and programs like CDS Monarch’s Warrior Salute program are essential to helping these men and women put their lives back together,” said Joseph VanFonda (USMC SgtMaj Ret.), CEO of DVNF. “We are pleased to support such a great organization so they can continue to positively impact the lives of veterans.”
