Pittsford: Phyllis K. Wolf, 89, of Pittsford, NY, passed away peacefully on Friday September 12, 2014, due to complications from Alzheimer’s disease. She was the wife of W. Lewis Wolf. Mrs. Wolf was born April 12, 1925 in Rochester NY, the daughter of Howard and Loreen Kemp. A graduate of East High School and Business School, Phyllis spent her life committed to improving the lives of those with disabilities. As one of the founders of CDS Monarch, she spent over 30 years on the board, defining a new era in the care provided to the disabled in the Rochester, NY area.

She was predeceased by her loving husband of 62 years and by her oldest son Gregory Wolf. She leaves her son Daryl Wolf, who resides in a CDS Monarch residence in Fairport NY; son Mark Wolf and his wife Donna Wolf of Woodbury CT; Grandsons Evan Wolf of Woodbury CT; Ryan Wolf and his wife Tammy Wolf and great granddaughter Victoria Wolf of Woodbury CT; Granddaughters Lindsey Wolf of Jamaica Plains, MA: Chelsea Wolf Mascari and her husband Paolo Mascari, and her great grandson Owen Mascari of Lincoln, MA.

A memorial service will be held at the Pittsford Presbyterian Church in Pittsford, NY on Saturday October 18, 2014 at 11:00AM with a reception to follow. Her final resting place will be in White Haven Memorial Park in Pittsford, NY.
