CDS Monarch host Flag Day cookout to celebrate Warrior Salute veterans and thank supporters

On Saturday, June 14th, CDS Monarch will be holding a Flag Day Cookout celebration from 12:30-2:30pm at the Wolf Life Transitions Center (860 Hard Road in Webster). This event will honor the Warrior Salute Veterans (current participants and graduates), as well as all those who have served in the military, and those who have supported the Warrior Salute program in some way. Additionally, the Patriot Guard Riders of New York will be making a stop at the event, as part of their 2nd Annual Heroes Run, to make a formal presentation to Warrior Salute in honor of all military heroes.

“The Greater Rochester community has been so supportive of Warrior Salute’s initiative to help Veterans to make a successful transition back to civilian life,” stated Sankar Sewnauth, CDS Monarch President/CEO. “Warrior Salute relies entirely on contributions from local businesses and members of the community in order to be able to continue offering the services that our brave men and women need when they return home. This is just a small way for us to celebrate the successes of Warrior Salute thus far, and to say thank you to those who have helped make those successes possible.”

Although donations will be accepted, this is a free event to thank you the community for their contributions to Warrior Salute. Those planning to attend, are asked to please call 585-347-1205 to RSVP.
