CDS Monarch Breaks Ground on New Senior Living Community

CDS Monarch broke ground on a second senior living community this morning in Webster. The new building will offer apartments for seniors, people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and veterans who are 55 years and older. It will include 50 apartment units. CDS Monarch says the housing will be more affordable than other options.

CDS Monarch President and CEO Sankar Sewnauth said, “This is affordable housing so there is a formula you use but it’s significantly cheaper than market rate housing for individuals.”

CDS Monarch was awarded a total of eleven $11.1 million dollars to complete this project. This new facility is expected to be operational in spring 2015.
